Yuri was born into a family of hunters, and was unable to become a hunter because she was born color-blind. Not wanting to be forced to part with Yuri, her parents kept her colorblindness a secret from the family and took her and her older sister to live far away from the family. At the age of seven, Yuri meets an older brother in an abandoned building while hiding from the rain, and Yuri sees in him a fourth color that is different from black, white, and gray. Although Yuri learned that the identity of that brother was a vampire, it did not scare him at all. Because in Yuri's eyes, the law is the only unique color. Yuri's family moved to a remote place to live. One night, his sister, mom and dad were all attacked by a vampire with a silver mask. Only Yuri survived.
